The Essential Blender Comparison Guide

Blenders are one of the more versatile kitchen appliances you can own, and for good reason.

Every blender has a different set of functions, blade design, and capacity…

And yet while blenders can share the same qualities, they can be designed for vastly different purposes.

Take an immersion blender.

These have different settings, a set of blades, etc., just like a standard pitcher blender but their purposes are actuated in very different ways.

You fill standard pitchers up and blend them in a container. Immersion blenders are designed to be submerged in the food you want to blend. In this way, immersion blenders are better suited for situations other blenders are not.

Like blending hot food such as soups and sauces.

Even with these differences readily apparent, you still may struggle with comparing different blenders--or deciding which one will best suit your needs.

Well, identifying what you need is the best place to start when your goal is deciding which one to buy.

Some common points to consider include…

Counter and cabinet space (for storage).

Your kitchen needs--will you be using it for blending, cooking, prep work, etc?

Your budget.

And so on.

While budget is a big thing to keep in mind, you don’t want to settle for less. Saving money is great but if you end up with an appliance that doesn’t get the job done or forces you to rely on multiple appliances to complete one kitchen task, then a cheap buy is hardly worth it.

Being able to compare the different kinds of blenders is about making the right choice in model, not about saving a couple of bucks.

When you know what you’ll be using the blender for, you can start to narrow down your search between the different types. And when you know which type of blender you’re looking for, that’s when you can fully consider your budgetary limits.

With all that in mind, here’s the only blender comparison list you’ll ever need.
